MOJANDA Automotive-Grade GNSS Chip Series Achieves AEC-Q100 Grade 2 Certification

On February 13, 2025, MCT’s MOJANDA fully in-house developed automotive-grade BeiDou high-precision positioning chip series successfully obtained AEC-Q100 Grade 2 certification from SGS, a globally recognized certification authority. This milestone affirms the exceptional performance of the MOJANDA chip series under automotive-grade standards.

The MOJANDA chip series is one of MCT’s flagship products, developed entirely in-house with full-stack capabilities spanning RF, analog, SoC, baseband, automotive-grade design, algorithms, and operations — ensuring seamless integration and optimization from the hardware foundation to high-level applications. Built on a “hardware-software co-design” philosophy, MOJANDA achieves industry-leading performance in power consumption, performance, and area (PPA). Its deeply customized RISC-V platform significantly enhances positioning computation performance, delivering a substantial boost in overall system efficiency. Supporting all constellations and frequency bands — including BeiDou, GPS, Galileo, and GLONASS — MOJANDA delivers reliable and precise positioning experiences, with best-in-class performance in BeiDou-only environments. On-chip integration of proprietary positioning algorithms ensures industry-leading fix rates and accuracy across diverse application scenarios, including complex urban environments and open rural areas. This further advances the broad adoption of spatial intelligence technology across autonomous driving, embodied AI, low-altitude aviation, shared mobility, robotic lawn mowers, and more, meeting the high-precision positioning demands of a wide range of end devices and complex use cases.

Achieving AEC-Q100 Grade 2 certification represents authoritative industry recognition of MOJANDA’s high adaptability, interference resistance, and long-term stability. The AEC-Q100 Grade 2 standard demands that chips demonstrate superior environmental resilience and immunity to interference, ensuring consistent, accurate, and stable performance in the complex and demanding conditions of automotive environments. The MOJANDA chip series maintains reliable, safe, and precise positioning services even under extreme conditions such as high temperatures and intense vibration — capabilities that are critical to the safety and dependability of intelligent driving systems.

This certification not only serves as authoritative validation of MOJANDA’s technical capabilities in the intelligent driving space, but also lays a solid foundation for MCT’s market expansion in the automotive electronics and autonomous driving industries. As automotive-grade standards continue to evolve, MCT will press forward with technology innovation to deliver ever more reliable, safe, and precise spatial intelligence solutions — rising to meet the challenges of the autonomous driving era.
